20+ years experience Aviation Ordnance. Served as Department Maintenance, Material and management Supervisor on board 4 naval vessels. Supervised, managed, and trained 40+ crew members. Emphasis in safety adherence and quality assurance.  Performed section lead duties including but not limited to, maintained section training plans/records; provided leadership and guidance to assigned personnel, scheduled and conducted safety-related inspections on equipment, employee proper usage, and building safety regulations.  Conducted OSHA compliance audits and safety field audits. Performed and directed Quality Assurance inspections on assembly of highly sensitive and precise equipment. Audited and updated libraries of technical publications. Maintained tool control, corrosion control, HazMat. Performed duties as Base Police at Great Lakes Naval Base performing patrolling, dispatching, and small arms instructing. Qualified as Department 3M supervisor for shipboard Maintenance Material Management and trained all department personnel. Installed first SKED program onboard ship for 3M implementing the entire department and made all updates.

I have spent my adult life volunteering for various causes.  I have received many awards as a result of my volunteer work, most notably accepting the GEICO Military Service Award for the United States Navy, chosen personally by the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, MCPON Terry Scott in April 2006 for my collective work in Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Awareness.  Recipient of the Lifetime Presidential Service Award by President George W. Bush.  My areas of interest include my family, church and the community, safety awareness, youth outreach, and preservation of the environment.
